A SAFE SPACE TO BE FULLY YOU

You may have spent years learning how to appear composed, capable, and easy to understand—even when the effort leaves you exhausted. Perhaps you have been told you are too sensitive, too intense, too distracted, too rigid, or simply too much. Or perhaps you have become so skilled at adapting that even you are no longer sure what your own needs feel like.

Neurodivergent-affirming therapy does not begin with the assumption that you need to be corrected. It begins with curiosity about your nervous system, sensory world, attention, communication, relationships, and the strategies that helped you survive environments that were not built with you in mind.

Together, we can make sense of patterns without shaming them, reduce the cost of masking, and build a life that requires less performance and allows more honesty, regulation, connection, and choice.

THERAPY CAN HELP…

MASKING, BURNOUT & BELONGING

The problem is
often translation
—not failure.

Many neurodivergent people become exceptionally skilled at studying what others expect and adjusting themselves accordingly. You may rehearse conversations, suppress sensory discomfort, imitate social cues, overprepare, people-please, or push through exhaustion so convincingly that others never see the cost.

Over time, that effort can lead to burnout, shutdown, anxiety, resentment, disconnection from your body, and uncertainty about who you are beneath the performance. In relationships, differences in communication, emotional pacing, attention, sensory needs, or conflict responses may be interpreted as indifference, rejection, control, or failure—even when both people care deeply.

Therapy can create room to translate these differences more accurately. Rather than asking you to become less neurodivergent, we work toward greater self-understanding, clearer communication, sustainable boundaries, nervous-system support, and relationships that make space for the way you genuinely experience the world.

common questions

No. You do not need a formal autism, ADHD, or other neurodivergence diagnosis to begin therapy with us. Some clients arrive with a diagnosis, while others are questioning, self-identifying, or simply trying to understand patterns that have never been adequately explained.

Yes. We offer secure virtual sessions for clients in Texas, as well as in-person care in Austin. We can help you decide which format is likely to feel most comfortable and effective for your needs.

Yes. We work with neurodivergent individuals and couples around communication differences, emotional pacing, sensory needs, conflict, boundaries, all aspects of intimacy, and the strain that can arise when partners experience the world differently.

The first session is a collaborative conversation about what brings you in, what has and has not helped before, and what you hope will change. We will also begin learning about your communication style, sensory needs, relationships, nervous system, and daily life—without expecting you to perform, mask, or have everything figured out.

You don’t have to keep translating yourself alone.
